  • Age should be below 19 years old.
  • All applicants are required to submit a copy of all pages of their passport when they submit the application to BIS. The validity of passport at the time of submission must be more than two (2) years. Other relevant shall be informed by the Visa unit once the admission into BIS is confirmed.
  • International students studying at Brighton International School shall posses a valid International Student Visa, Dependant, Malaysia My 2 nd Home (MM2H) from the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

Brighton International School will provide the necessary assistance for the application of an International Student Visa. Application for International Student Visa will be handled by the school only. The admission officer has to be informed by the parents /guardian that an International Student Visa is required at the time of application for admission to the school. A reference checklist will be provided by the admission team and may be used as a guide to complete the required documents for International Student Visa

  1. All required fees need to be paid in full before Brighton International School proceeds with the processing of Student Visa.
  2. The Student Visa Processing Service Charge covers the service and processing costs needed for the application of the International Student’s Visa Sticker on the passport issued by Immigration Department of Malaysia.
  3. Any outstanding payment before applying for student visa shall be made payable to Geo Global Management as per the following details and a proof of payment shall be submitted along with the application

  4. The International Student Visa processing service charge is non-refundable
  5. Student visa processing fee of RM750 shall be charged and can be made payable upon submission of visa application documents. If the first application is rejected for any reason, the same fee will be charged for the second application.
  6. Student visa processing fee of RM500 is payable for student visa renewal and is non-refundable in any circumstances.
  7. Student visa processing fee of RM500 is payable for the renewal of a student visa and is non-refundable in any circumstances.
  8. All documents along with the visa processing fee for the renewal of student visa are required to be submitted 3 months prior to expiry of the current visa.

Students having Dependent Visa under their parents do not require to get an International Students Visa However, they will need to endorse their dependent visa on their passport before they start their class at BIS.

Students who are on their parents Malaysian My 2 nd Home (MM2H) Program passes on their passports will not require an International Student Visa. Please note that the student can only start school after the said visa has been endorsed in the student’s passport.

Students who have PR Status stamps on their passports will not require an International Student Visa. However, please note that the student can only start school after their PR stamps have been endorsed in the passport by the relevant authorities.

  1. A copy of all pages of the student’s passport (including empty pages).
  2. Two (2) copies of student’s birth certificate (translated into English and certified as true copy by the respective Embassy in Malaysia)
  3. Photocopy of parent’s passport details page and latest visa page.
  4. If the student is under guardianship, a copy of the guardian passport details, latest visa page and the original guardian certificate issued by the respective Embassy.
  5. Two (2) copies of the parent’s marriage certificate (translated into English and certified as true copy by the respective Embassy in Malaysia)
  6. If parent is divorced, two (2) copies of divorce and custody certificate must be attached (translated into English and certified as true copy by the respective Embassy in Malaysia).
  7. If either of the parent has passed away, two (2) copies of death certificate must be attached (translated into English and certified true copy by the country’s Embassy in Malaysia).
  8. For single parent, proof of financial status must be provided in term of bank statement or bankbook (translated into English, currency must be converted into Ringgit Malaysia or US Dollar and certified as true copy by the respective bank)
  9. For Korean students, a copy of the Family Certificate (translated into English and certified true copy by the Embassy of Korea in Malaysia) is required.
  10. Previous School Release Letter (original) if the student is transferred from another school in Malaysia.
  11. 6 passport-size photos of student (with blue background).
  12. Processing and submission fee of RM750.00.

Important!

  1. The school cannot guarantee that the student visa will be granted by the Immigration Department and is at the sole discretion of the Malaysian Immigration department.
  2. All due payments must be paid in full before an application for student visa is made.
  3. It is mandatory to keep 90% attendance in classes to be eligible for the renewal of student visa.
  4. BIS reserves the right to cancel the Student Pass of those who are absent from school for more than two (2) weeks with proper notification to the parents.

  1. RM 2000.00 guardian visa application fees.
  2. Fill up and submit the visa application form.
  3. Passport size colour photos with blue background (6 photos).
  4. Copy of student’s passport with valid student visa.
  5. Copy of guardian’s passport (front page, valid visa).
  6. Copy of husband’s passport (front page).
  7. Copy of student’s birth certificate (Translated into English).
  8. Copy of mother’s birth certificate or National ID Card
  9. Copy of 3 month of Bank Statement (Latest).
  10. Copy of parents’ marriage certificate (Translated into English).
  11. Copy of parents’ divorce certificate (Translated into English) – if applicable

International students with student pass who are withdrawing from BIS, please handover original passport to the Visa office in Brighton Central at least 3 weeks before last day of schooling to allow us time to cancel the student pass. A copy of the student's flight booking information (flight departing Malaysia) is also required. For students enrolling into another international school in Malaysia, please also provide a copy of the new offer letter for verification purpose at Immigration.

  1. RM 250.00 transfer student visa application fees.
